The Google PageRank checking service is one of the popular free services provided on this blog. It allows you to check PageRank of any web page instantaneously without installing Google Toolbar plug-in for your browser.
This service was down for the past few days(thanks to Vijay for letting us know) and today we restored it. The PageRank checking service was powered by trynt.com web services, but without any notice trynt.com went offline. So we quickly re-wrote the PageRank checking algorithm by directly querying Google Servers rather than depending on the third party sites. So, now our Google PageRank checking service is more reliable and faster than earlier.
