Google Gets Ready For Android Launch
The HTC Dream from T-Mobile is the first ever mobile device powered by Google’s android.The Dream, which is expected to go on sale in late October, will also reportedly cost the same as the iPhone $199.
It won’t be look as sleek as the iPhone, but it promises to give mobile-phone users a lot more freedom and flexibility.
As many of the featured are under wrap until the launch, at least based on the leaked photos and videos of Dream, phone users will use the flip-out keyboard to enter text, and iPhone like touch screen is also used mainly for navigation.
The real strength of the Dream is the add-on applications available from the Android Market. Unlike Apple App Store, these add-on applications will be absolutely free.
