Launch Internet Explorer 8 In InPrivate Mode By Default
The InPrivate mode of Internet Explorer 8 (IE v8) allows you browse Internet without leaving any traces of the browsing activities on the computer. In InPrivate mode, IE 8 does not store any cookies, history or cache of web pages that you visit. This feature very useful when you want to browse Internet at a friend’s house or while using a public computer.
You can create a shortcut to launch Internet Explorer 8 in InPrivate by default with the help of simple steps
- Right click on your desktop and choose New -> Shortcut option
- Enter the following command and click Next button
"%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore" -private
- In the Next screen give a suitable name to the shortcut. Ex: Launch IE In InPrivate and click on Finish
From now onwards you can use this shortcut to launch Internet Explorer 8 in InPrivate mode by default.
