Books Recommended In 4 Hour Workweek By Tim Ferriss

Today I completed reading the book 4 Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss. It’s a good read and I gained good knowledge by the time I turned the last page of the book. Though I’m not considering to cut my working hours to 4 hours in a week and live like a king as encouraged by the author, I will be definitely trying to implements few techniques he explained in the book like –  prioritizing important tasks, productivity through focus,  eliminating junk, automate day to day repeated tasks and hiring a cheap virtual assistant to outsource lot of time consuming tasks.

If you are looking for a good review on the book then considering reading this excellent Amazon’s customer review.

One of the important takeaways for me from the book is the list of suggested reading provided at the end. This list is curated by Tim Ferriss after speaking to several successful people (he runs an amazing podcast show).  Here is the suggested books and I added them to my To-Read list except Vagabonding!

  1. The Magic of Thinking Big  by David J. Schwartz
  2. How to Make Millions with Your Ideas: An Entrepreneur’s Guide by Dan S. Kennedy
  3. The E-myth revisited  by  Michael E. Gerber
  4. Vagabonding: An uncommon guide to the art of long-term world travel by Rolf Potts
