Today Microsoft‘s CEO Steve Ballmer announced at CES that Windows 7 Beta will be available to everyone from tomorrow Friday, January 9 onwards.

Even though Windows 7 Beta has been available through torrent websites since last week, you are advised to download the official build.

• Windows 7 Beta 1 will be made available for a limited time during the day on January 9, 2009.
• It will only be made available to the first 2.5 million people to download the code
