iPhone Application For WordPress Bloggers

As Apple opened the iPhone API gates for programmers, applications for iPhone are flooding. WordPress announced that soon they are going to release an native iPhone application that allows self hosted WordPress bloggers to blog directly from their iPhones.

This application supports posting articles to self hosted WordPress 2.5.1 or higher blogs and  promised to have the following features

1. Embed images in post directly from iPhone camera or media library
2. Preview the posts before posting
3. Ability to configure categories, publish date, tags, password and other attributes of a post
4. Open and Edit earlier posts of the blog
5. Support for Multiple blogs
6. Privacy Settings
