Google On House Keeping Mode–Shutting Down Google Desktop, Google Pack, Notebook And Many More

Once Larry Page took over the full control of Google, he is been in the mood of tug of war with Facebook on the social front as well as setting things right at home. After a good(if not very successful) launch of Google+, Larry Page today decided to retire many of the experimental and not so great products: Google Notebook, Google Pack, Google Desktop, Fast Flip,etc. These products will disappear into black holes in the coming months in a phased manner.
