Keyboard Shortcut For Missing “Up Icon” In Vista Explorer
In Windows XP we can easily navigate to a parent directory by clicking on the Up Icon of Windows Explorer. But this option is removed in Vista’s Windows Explorer. Not sure about the reasons why Microsoft decided to remove the Up icon but it has resulted in one among the many inconveniences Vista presented to us.
Luckily the hidden shortcut “Alt + Up Arrow Key” allows us to move to parent directory.
