Docs.com is a Microsoft’s website that lets you create online documents(word, excel & powerpoint) and share them easily with Facebook friends. Docs.com is built on Office 2010 Web Apps and has some nice features that support online document editing.
Recently Microsoft added a small interesting feature ‘Resume – Social Template’ that lets you create resume with the help of work and education provided in our Facebook account. Follow the link http://docs.com/resume and grant permission for the application to access your Facebook information. Your resume will be ready in a snap.
Even though the resume generated by the application is very basic, it’s a good start to prepare a nice resume.
May be it would be nice if Microsoft creates a similar application with LinkedIn to generate more rich resumes.
