Amazon Pays $150K For Eating Teens Home Work
Remember the kid who lost his home work when Amazon’s Kindle ate it? It’s pretty ironic but when Amazon deleted an e-book from all the Kindles remotely due to copyrights confusion, a teenager lost his home work assignment recorded on this book.
The teenage did not keep quite after loosing his home work due to the unauthorized act of Amazon. He approached a law firm and filed a case against Amazon for eating his home work. So what is the cost of this home work? Amazon paid a whooping amount of $150,000 to settle the case and it’s CEO apologized for deleting the ebook.
As per the settlement the amount paid by Amazon will go directly to his lawyers and they must donate the amount to a charity.
