Windows 7 Release Candidate To Be Available By May 2009

Windows_7_Logo The release candidate of Windows 7 is going to be available to general public for testing from May 2009 onwards. Someone at Microsoft pushed a wrong button and published premature information about the availability of Windows 7 RC on TechNet website. Ars technica blog quickly grabbed the screenshots and the text of the web page as Microsoft is expected to remove the pages anytime.

The release candidate will be available for download through June 2009 and it will expire by June 1, 2010. If you are test driving  Windows 7 beta on your personal computers then get yourself familiarized with the list of 36 changes in RC and be prepared for the upgrade. Lets hope that Microsoft will plan the RC launch properly and their servers will not crash as it happened during beta release.
